Equinox Window Cleaning (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

Quick 80s moment: like a good mixtape, these Terms set the track order for using our website and scheduling service.

1) Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using our website, requesting a quote, scheduling services, or otherwise engaging with Equinox Window Cleaning, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.

2) Services Covered

These Terms apply to (a) use of our website and content, and (b) any residential exterior cleaning services we provide, including (as applicable) window washing and related services such as house washing, driveway cleaning, deck/patio cleaning, and walkway cleaning.

3) Quotes, Scheduling, and On-Site Conditions

Quotes

Quotes may be provided based on information you submit and may be adjusted after an on-site assessment.
Quotes may exclude add-ons that are not disclosed or visible in photos or descriptions (for example, hidden access issues or severe buildup).
Unless stated otherwise in writing, quotes are valid for a limited time and are subject to change due to scope, travel, labor, or material changes.

Scheduling and Access

You agree to provide safe access to the areas to be cleaned, including unlocking gates and securing pets.
For exterior-only work, we may be able to perform service without you present, if payment and access are arranged in advance.
You are responsible for removing or securing fragile items near work areas (planters, décor, outdoor furniture, etc.).

Utilities

Unless otherwise agreed, you agree to provide access to water and standard electrical power when needed for the service.

4) Customer Responsibilities and Safety

You must disclose known hazards (for example, unstable ladders/railings, damaged glass, loose screens, electrical hazards, wasp nests).
You agree not to request unsafe work (for example, servicing areas with structural instability or conditions that present unreasonable risk).
We may refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe or materially different from what was represented.

5) Payments, Fees, and Taxes

Payment terms (due date, deposit, and accepted payment methods) may be provided at booking or on the invoice.
Past-due balances may incur late fees to the extent permitted by law and/or may result in suspension of future service.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

6) Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please provide as much notice as possible to reschedule or cancel.
We may charge a cancellation or trip fee for last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or denied access, where permitted by law and disclosed at booking.
Weather and other factors may require rescheduling; see Section 7.

7) Weather, Force Majeure, and Service Interruptions

Some services are weather-dependent. We may reschedule due to rain, high wind, extreme temperatures, lightning, or other unsafe conditions. We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, labor disruptions, supply issues, or government actions.

8) Satisfaction and Rework

If you are dissatisfied, notify us promptly (ideally within 48 hours of service completion) and provide reasonable detail/photos when applicable.
At our discretion, we may re-clean specific areas as a remedy. Remedies are limited to re-performance or refund of the affected portion, as permitted by law.

9) Limitations, Pre-Existing Damage, and Results

Some staining (for example, hard water etching, oxidation, or mineral deposits) may not be fully removable without specialized restoration. We do not promise restoration unless specifically agreed in writing.
You acknowledge that older, compromised, or improperly installed glass, seals, screens, frames, paint, siding, decking, concrete, or caulking may be susceptible to damage during cleaning.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or normal wear and tear.

10) Website Use, Intellectual Property, and Acceptable Use

All website content is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, distribute, or exploit the site content without written permission, except for normal personal viewing.
You agree not to misuse the website (for example, introducing malware, attempting unauthorized access, or interfering with site operation).

11) Third-Party Links and Tools

Our website may reference third-party websites, embeds, or tools. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or availability.

12) Disclaimers

The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Equinox Window Cleaning will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the website or services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

14) Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Equinox Window Cleaning and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these Terms, or your failure to disclose hazards or conditions relevant to service.

15) Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any legal action must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in North Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
